CEDAR BRUSH NATURE RESERVE
|
| Towarri N.P., Wingen Maid N. R.
and Cedar Brush N. R. cover a rugged part of the Liverpool
Range and contain an amazing variety of landforms, plants and
wildlife. Towarri is at the confluence of three great
bioregions - the "Sydney Basin" (sandstone country);
the northern and western parts of the park fall within the
"Brigalow Belt South" (black soil country); the
north eastern section of the park is typical of the "NSW
North Coast" soils and landforms.
The Towarri National Park itself is a very recent acquisition
so there are few marked walking trails and recreational
facilities. Many remote parts are currently inaccessible as
they are bounded by private property |
