This is the place to experience Australian farm life.  The homestead offers lodgings in a charming Californian brick bungalow set in a magnificent garden filled with native birds.  A meal or a cup of tea on the deck offers sweeping views over the surrounding countryside.  On pleasant days you are welcome to use our newly resurfaced tennis court, and if the day is hot you may wish to take a refreshing swim in the in-ground salt water swimming pool. 

.  The main house contains two comfortable guest bedrooms, each with a double bed.  Alternatively you may prefer to stay in the newly renovated cottage which is separate from the house and has queen bed with ensuite.

The more adventurous may wish to take David’s famous 4WD tour around the property, and gain an entertaining insight into the day to day operation of the farm.  You will also see lots of kangaroos! In the evening you can visit the nearby historic Cassilis pub for a quick drink before returning for dinner..

 We recommend driving from Sydney through the Hunter Vineyards up to Runnymede and after a day or two returning via Mudgee, a charming vibrant town or Dubbo, location of the famous Zoo.  This itinerary includes the spectacular Blue Mountains. Approximate driving time from Sydney is 4 ½ hours. Merriwa  20mins.
