Cheyenne Wilderness Retreat is perched on the edge of the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park and Wilderness Area. This is a unique part of Australia's bush, wild, rugged...magic ... and safe for all the family and your pets.

Walcha is situated 447 kms from Sydney via Gloucester and the Thunderbolts Way. This scenic road is now fully tar sealed and winds through the rolling hills around Gloucester then quickly climbs into the cool mountains and through spectacular forests.  There are many delightful picnic spots along this route and best of all, it actually cuts quite a lot of distance off your trip to Armidale or even Brisbane.

Cheyenne, is a working 760 hectares (2000 acres)  cattle property nestled among the hills and gorges of the magnificent Oxley Wild Rivers National Park and Wilderness Area.  The property was originally established by Burgh's grandfather early last century and is a fine example of an Australian high country grazing property
